This week global leaders will meet in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum to engage in critical discussions about the world’s most pressing challenges. Under the theme “Cooperation in a fragmented world,” they will explore how to advance forward-leaning solutions to global issues and create multi-sector collaborations to tackle common challenges.
From dangerous planetary change, large-scale involuntary migration, and the erosion of social cohesion, young children and their families are particularly vulnerable to the global risks being discussed this week in Davos.
But investing in health, well-being, education, and flourishing in the earliest years of human development is also one of the most efficient and effective ways for the world’s leaders to take long-term responsibility, build resilience, and contribute to a “more positive, inclusive, and stable world” in the years ahead.
Capita catalyzes creative new solutions to some of the most pressing risks we face across our societies and communities. We have been working on many of the issues that are top of WEF’s agenda and how they impact children since our inception in 2018.
